Customer Service Representative - REMOTE
SUMMARY
Take the lead at the frontline of our company! In this multifaceted role, you’ll assist with telephone and email customer interactions that utilize various tools and systems.
Your ability to provide effective resolutions and take ownership of customer questions and challenges make you just the right candidate for our team!
You will be supporting our Canadian Branch- parlez-vous francais? For this role, we are looking for a candidate who is fluent in English, but if you speak French AND English, even better!
The focus of this oriented Customer Service position is on creating friendly and helpful customer journeys- proving friendly and accurate options and solutions.
We are looking for teammates with a strong sense of organization who can multi-task and make well-balanced decisions.
Expertise is developed in a comprehensive virtual classroom training that begins in May.
This job allows for autonomy and independence, but we work together as a team and stay connect electronically. Because some of what we do is deadline-based, decisions must be made quickly and firmly, and being able to navigate our systems and resources is an important part of what we do.
FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES
- Delivers a consistent level of friendly and accurate customer service on every call
- Answer inbound calls and respond to emails, online chat, and internal chat requests from customers and internal partners.
- Supports customers’ day-to-day service needs related to order inquiries.
- Work with other internal partner teams to ensure an easy and satisfactory customer experience
- Maintain product knowledge and act as expert on our line of goods and services.
- Manage and resolve customer concerns.
- Provide creative solutions and options to customers.
- Quickly navigate our system to provide customers with order information, price quotes, and freight costs.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Friendly Smile
- High School Equivalent or GED
- Fluent in English
- 2-3 Days of Training will require company-paid travel to Canada. (at our expense!)
- US Passport preferred, but if not, we will help you obtain one (at our expense!)
- Proficient in MS Office and Internet Searching
- 1-2 years’ experience in a customer support field
- Experience working in an inbound call center preferred
- Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
