Hiring Range: $18.00 per hour
Help change the world and improve the lives of North Dakota citizens by protecting a network of over 250,000 devices. North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is seeking a Cybersecurity Apprentice for our Information Security Division. As our Cybersecurity Apprentice, you will conduct research, monitoring data security processes, maintain security measures on installed software, complete needs assessments for security systems and participate in vulnerability management processes to help protect the over 250,000 devices. You will work on a team with one of the world’s most advanced Security Operations Centers to protect a state network including autonomous farms and smart roads designed to end world hunger, the Nation’s only research environment for beyond line of sight Unmanned Arial Vehicles, as well as the defense forces for 2/3rds of the Nation’s Nuclear Triad.
To succeed in this position, you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in order to meet organization standards. You should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships while working independently and within a team.
To be considered for this role, you must currently be in enrolled in a cybersecurity program through Lake Region State College.
