Studio T Dance & Acro is Growing! We're seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a dance instructor and role model for our students. As a dance instructor, the majority of your students will be under the age of 7. This is a part time position

We are looking for a sweet, creative, and self-motivated teammate to join our dance family. Youʼll already be excellent and passionate about delivering outstanding lessons as well as being excited to work on student growth and development. Youʼll have a strong drive to provide an out of this world class experience each and every time.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: development of lesson plans appropriate for each age group, fostering the physical and intellectual development of each dancer, providing feedback to the studio owner (and parents) of each child’s progress in class, selection of clean and appropriate music for class, and choreographing dances for each semester performance.

- Self-Motivated and Excellent Direction-Taker

- You know how to prioritize the most important tasks (at times with minimal guidance), and how to think on your feet. At the same time, you pride yourself in your ability to take direction and deliver the desired result.

- Excellent Communication Skills

- Personal Responsibility - If you make a mistake, you take 100% responsibility and fast action to remedy the situation.

- Customer Empathy

- Imagining yourself in a customerʼs shoes, you respond with empathy and have an ability to know when itʼs appropriate to be friendly and accommodating and when to be firm.

Led by owner Toni Jennings, Studio T Dance is a small, family oriented dance studio dedicated to offering dance to all and improving our community through dance. Even though we are not competitive, we still strive for excellence and believe in bringing out the best dancer in each child!

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:

• Teaching preschool dance: 3 years (Preferred)
• teaching ballet: 3 years (Preferred)
• teaching tap technique: 3 years (Preferred)
