The National Links Trust, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is dedicated to protecting and promoting accessible, affordable and engaging municipal golf courses to positively impact local communities across the United States of America.

Our first project is focused on the extraordinary opportunity to improve the golf courses and enhance the facilities at the three municipal courses in our nation’s capital: East Potomac Golf Links, Langston, and Rock Creek Park. Each one of these sites has a rich and storied history, but none are currently achieving their full potential. Rehabilitating and operating the public golf courses in our Nation’s Capital is a once-in-a-generation opportunity that aligns with the mission of National Links Trust. We are committed to implement a course of action that honors the past and ensures a bright future for these national treasures.

NLT is seeking a part-time data and fundraising associate to assist with data entry as well as routine general ledger account entry and reconciliation:

• Process gifts received by check, credit card, wire, stock, and other sources

• Import gifts from online platforms into fundraising database

• Scan gifts into workflow for processing

• Generate tax receipts, merge letters, review information for accuracy, print and upload letters to database

• Light general ledger work to include data entry and account reconciliation

• Assist with data requests for financial audits and compliance reports

This role will primarily work remotely but may require occasional in-person meetings as projects dictate.

What we expect you to bring to the table:

• Have some knowledge of Blackbaud Raisers Edge NXT and QuickBooks

• Have a general understanding of non-profit gift processing and stewardship

• General accounting knowledge with a focus on nonprofits

• Grant reporting

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Solid computer skills, including Excel with experience in data manipulation and migration, macros, pivot tables, and merging data sets

• A college degree or progress towards completing a college degree is desired
