Organizational Tutors (OT) is one of the premier Executive Function Tutoring organizations in the US. Based in NYC, OT provides specialized and individualized tutoring and coaching to strengthen students’ executive functioning capacities, effectively manage complex neuropsychological profiles, and overcome social/emotional obstacles to learning. OT has grown exponentially over the past decade due to the dedication and efforts of its tight-knit network.
OT is looking for a highly-organized, fastidious, and efficient part-time research and data assistant to support our administrative team consisting of: CEO, Program Director, and Operations Director. As a small team, working remotely, we are looking for someone who communicates clearly, is self-directed, independent and is comfortable asking questions.
Responsibilities
The data assistant is responsible for a variety of short-term and ongoing tasks designed to support the administrative team’s strategic goals in terms of collecting, analyzing and presenting data related to our matchmaking process and client services.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Enter company data accurately into company proprietary databases and excel spreadsheets
- Track and report data related to client conversion and retention on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Analyze referral data to identify most effective referral sources
- Compile and analyze data related to tutor caseloads
- Scan current data for errors and perform routine quarterly maintenance of client and tutor data for efficiency
- Protect sensitive and confidential information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. Ideal candidate is currently pursuing a graduate degree utilizing quantitative research, statistics, computer science or related field
- Must have have prior data entry experience and demonstrated exceptional attention to detail
- Dependable self-starter who can take direction but work independently
- Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, trustworthiness, and follow through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stay on task and keep up with weekly goals in a virtual work environment (the OT team works remotely.)
- Availability for occasional in-person meetings in NYC
- Sound judgment regarding privacy, confidentiality, and acceptable content
- Demonstrated understanding of responsible internet safety best practices

Compensation
This is an hourly independent contractor position with an expectation of 10-15 hours of work weekly. Compensation is $26 per hour.
