ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the implementation and enhancement of the DCOP process improvement initiatives, therefore they will participate and collaborate in the regional implementation of the Global Data Center Operation Program (DCOP)
  • Contribute to the development of the regional Data Center Operations technical training program
  • Participate in the design and development of regional training to site personnel in six states and 12 data centers on the Data Center Operations Program
  • Participate in the measurement of performance, monitoring success, and reporting on regional compliance to the global DCOP and locally established practices through a system of ongoing quality checks and regional program audits
  • Use data analytical skills to work with the Quality Systems Analyst and the Service Delivery Analyst with creating reports and establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs); then review KPIs and metrics to monitor success and analyze areas for improvement
  • Monitor process performance and day-to-day activities for areas requiring improvement and assist with improvement initiatives based on reporting, metrics, and data
  • Use business analyst skills to help improve process gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve operationally then recommend and provide solutions that will increase productivity, maintain compliance, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience
  • Develop and draft Policy, Process, and Procedure documents to ensure consistency, efficiency, accuracy, and completeness on end-to-end workflows for the Data Center Operations teams
  • Initiate, coordinate and facilitate document updates and reviews on process improvements to align with all audit requirements and standards
  • Provide guidance and assist the Quality Systems Analyst with improvement initiatives that help align to quality standards and compliance requirements
  • Work and collaborate with the Business Continuity team to ensure process and documentation are in place regionally should a disaster strike near a Data Center
  • Participate in, providing guidance, assisting, and championing operational process and document creation initiatives

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated experience working with multi-facility, standards-based data center operation programs
  • Proficient skills and knowledge of process creation, workflow, and ability to analyze and develop processes, create technical documentation, and communicate effectively with both management and facility operations personnel
  • Proficient business analyst skills to provide input and improvement of existing process flows and provide development enhancement requests and creation of tool workflows, techniques, processes, metrics, reporting, and KPIs
  • Understanding of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), audit compliance standards, and associated control IDs along with knowledge of required supporting evidence-gathering techniques
  • Knowledge of quality standards, principles, and programs
  • Working knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical systems is desirable
  • Sound grasps critical environment technical processes and systems
  • Excellent English language oral and written communication skills required
  • Strong ability to clearly communicate goals, and manage timely and accurate results
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision (self-starter)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Project Management skills preferred
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects, and subsequent tasks with consistent follow-through to meet project milestones and deadlines
  • Accomplished ability to influence others, dotted line management experience a must
  • Special skills and ability to affect change without responsibility or direct control
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • ITSM toolset experience (ServiceNow, iVanti, or similar toolset)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
