Duration: Immediate start – 9-12 mo duration

We are looking to staff 1 F/T resource for a large bank/investment firm. The resource has to be solid and experienced. Will revert back with duration. Start is immediate.

Job Description:

• Candidate will be required to perform extensive data analysis to support design, implementation of Curated Datasets that would then be used by other Finance Reporting teams.
• Gather requirements from Finance subject matter experts to design, develop and implement dynamic dashboarding capability using Data Visualization tools such as (Power BI, Tableau).
• Candidate will also be required to provide necessary training to Users on the usage of the Data Visualization tools and develop necessary training content.
• Partner with Technology teams to process and ingest data from variety of data sources into Alteryx to prepare datasets that can be consumed by the downstream reporting teams.
• Create and maintain a Data Dictionary of the reporting attributes used within the Curated Datasets.

Desired Skillset/Qualifications:

• Must have extensive experience using Power BI (5+ years) and preferably other visualization tools (Tableau, etc.) to enable dynamic dashboarding
• Experience (3+ years) with Data modeling, ETL workflow management concepts and using data integrations tools such as Alteryx
• Experience with training Users on usage of Data Visualization tools (such as Power Bi, Tableau) and pulling together training content
• Preferably have experience with connecting to Cloud Database Management platforms (such as Snowflake, Azure) to develop the dashboarding capability

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $70.00 - $72.00 per hour
