Valco Melton is currently seeking a part-time Data Entry Clerk to assist in moving our product catalog to a new software platform. The primary goal of this position will be to help move 1500 pages of product from our current software to Adobe InDesign.

This role will entail working on a computer for long periods, copying and pasting text, and taking screenshots of images to move them from one software to another. Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign is a plus.

This position is expected to be 20 hours a week for a 3-month period. This is an in-office position that will be based at the Valco Melton office in West Chester.

Opportunities for full-time employment may be available at the end of the assignment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with the Marketing team to transfer internal, product catalog data from current software platform to Adobe InDesign.
• Screenshot all images from old catalogue and add to correct location in the new template.
• Create charts.
• Copy and paste data.
• Ensure proper formatting.
• Double-checking work for accuracy – spelling, grammar, layout, ensuring no missed sections.

What you need:

• 1+ years data entry, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work on computer for extended periods of time.
• Self-motivated and directed.
• Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign a plus.
