Thermal Seal Insulating Glass is a busy glass manufacturing plant that specializes in residential glass, and services glass shops all over New England. We seek to consistently advance and better our practices, and are currently looking for an engaging and dynamic Data Entry/Customer Service Representative to join us at our busy manufacturing plant.

In this role, the representative is responsible for order entry, filing, answering phones, taking orders from customers, and offering assistance to Customer Service as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Enters all received orders into Glasstrax entry system.
• Indexes and files hard copies of orders and receivables, and maintains file system regularly.
• Keeps and maintains tempering and shipping logs
• Sorts and collates order originals and coordinates daily reports for ease of research
• Answers phones, takes orders, and assists with other tasks as necessary.

Skills and Requirements

• Basic mathematics/ Ability to read fractions and a tape measure
• Self-starter and ability to prioritize tasks once effectively trained
• Proven customer service, support, or experience as a client service representative. (Experience in glass manufacturing preferred, but not required. We will train you)
• Strong organizational and active listening skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Professional and personable demeanor, focused on customer orientation and the ability to respond to different types of customers.
• Basic computer literacy, and the willingness and ability to learn new systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
