What You’ll Do

• Develop and deploy predictive models and analytical solutions; establish best practices

• Grow into our go-to-expert in pricing, risk, and forecasting

• Research new data sources, vetting for efficacy and applicability

• Provide input into the platform architecture for our algorithmic engines to run at scale

• Work with business and engineering partners to influence product direction and business strategy

• Develop machine learning models, write production code in python, and monitor models via dashboards and analytics

• Iterate quickly to identify external data sources and build out creative features that enhance the performance of those models

What You’ll Need

• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science or another quantitative field, or actuarial training (ACAS/FCAS/ASA/SOA) preferred

• 3-6+ years of hands-on experience utilizing data science (AI/ML) to develop models and deploy solutions to solve complex business problems

• Strong experience in SQL and programming in Python

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal)

• A bias towards solving problems from a customer-centric lens and an intuitive sense for how the work aligns closely with business objectives

• A thorough understanding of SQL databases

• Bonus: background in US real estate data, insurance or financial markets analysis

• Expertise with Python/ML
