Description
SAIC is seeking an exceptional experienced Database Administrator to support the Air Force's next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system acquisition. Our customer is the Sentinel Program Office located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This professional will work with the Sentinel IT branch of our customer the USAF.
Responsibilities will include:
- Interfacing with customer both contractors and Government
- Working in and reporting work complete JIRA
- Develop, implement, administer, and maintain policies and procedures for ensuring database security and integrity for MSSQL Servers
- Install, administer and maintain SQL server instances
- Monitor databases (database performance, scheduled jobs, and database backup jobs)
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience
- Understanding on networking support
- Experience SQL database management and troubleshooting
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve faults and errors in applications
- Understanding of software development and configuration management
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification requirements (i.e. CompTIA Security+)
- Secret security clearance granted or renewed in the last 5 years
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
- Ability to be read-in to Special Access Program
