Day Program Aides - Part-time - 27 hours per week
Lifesteps is recruiting for part-time Day Program Aidesto work at the Special Needs Community OutReach Center (Day Program) in Eighty Four, PA.
Day Program Aides support adult individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping with transportation from and to their home and community outings using the agency vehicle, assisting participants with vocational skills, teaching daily life skills & routines, and ensuring they have a fun, safe and clean environment.
Daylight hours 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, steady work schedule.
No experience necessary! Paid training provided! Hours great for families with school age children.
Experienced caregivers or home health aides welcome!
Position Requirements:
- 18 yrs. or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required
