The Charge Nurse will be responsible for managing, delegating, and supervising care in coordination with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to provide optimal resident care. The charge nurse must be able to (not limited to): Assess residents within their scope of practice. Identify changes in residents' conditions and respond appropriately. Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants ensuring care and tasks are being completed. Provide performance feedback to CNA staff when indicated. Identify safety risks and intervene as appropriate. Administer ordered medications and treatments in a safe timely manner. Be a team player.
