Senator Jacky Rosen seeks a Scheduling Assistant to join her Washington, D.C. office. Candidates must be proactive and resourceful, organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task. Candidates must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, the ability to quickly prioritize information and tasks, and follow through on multiple tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. The DC Scheduler/Scheduling Assistant works closely with the Director of Scheduling to execute the Senator’s daily schedule. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing administrative support to the Director of Scheduling to maintain the Senator’s daily and long-range schedules; organizing, vetting, and responding to incoming meeting requests and invitations; scheduling constituent meetings; responding to invitations the Senator is not able to accept; coordinating with staff to prepare the Senator’s briefing materials; coordinating travel arrangements; maintaining scheduling files; collaborate on special projects. Also include building out travel schedules, booking travel, off-site logistics and keeping time for the Senator during Session. Candidates must be able to manage a complex schedule and collaborate well between internal departments. The candidate would show a history of sound professional judgment and problem-solving capabilities. Assignments involve work of a confidential nature, necessitating exposure to sensitive information, thereby requiring discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
