Job description
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Must be dependable and have strong attendance profile
- Must work well with public and District staff
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have strong telephone etiquette
- Must have strong computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic database experience
- Accounting/billing experience
- Is able to be self-directive in organizing and accomplishing office work priorities
- Demonstrates mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position
- Process registrations for DCER Events
- Schedule District facilities using facility scheduler software (RecPro); including schedule changes
- Effectively communicate with auditorium staff, building staff and clients regarding facility rentals and events
- Handle all matters relating to facility rentals
- Invoice for facility rentals and follow up on invoice payments
- Process online purchases, track shipments and handle receipts
- Reconcile credit card statements
- Assist in overseeing DCER events
- Coordinate student volunteers at DCER events
- Train staff to use facility scheduler software program as necessary
- Work a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings to assist with events
- In absence of the Supervisor, is capable of handling situations that arise in a calm and professional manner
