Deli Crew Leader

Role:

As the Deli Crew Leader, you will lead a group of 3-4 people who are excited about designing, preparing, and serving food fare sales for the local community and Spokane Tribe of Indians. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing unique, quality meals to those who desire a variety of quick and tasty comfort foods or have a special desire for foods that are low carb or gluten free.

Focus:

The Deli Crew Leader will establish a working rotating menu for the Wellpinit Trading Post Delicatessen that will operate on a fulltime basis Monday – Friday, excluding most major holidays. The hours of operation and hours worked will be fluid and coordinated with Store Management. This position will be Full-Time/Non-Exempt, with an excellent benefit package. The featured items will be a mix of standard deli cuisine and special or unique custom prepared sandwiches, casseroles, and homemade dishes. You will lead the team in coordination of scheduling, ordering, prep work, cleaning, and maintenance of a full-service commercial kitchen. You will have the advantage of helping develop an upcoming kitchen remodel to help facilitate the anticipated needs of this venture.

Skills:

We are looking for someone who can teach and lead people, who has a genuine desire to serve and satisfy those who are hungry and has quality experience in food service management. We do not want someone who is simply looking for a paycheck. We want someone who will help this operation grow and serve the needs of our community and have fun while doing it.

Other Requirements:

• Must be over the age of 21. Background check required.
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week with flexibility.
• Have experience leading operations.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and often challenging environment.
• Deli Crew Leader earnings of $18-$21/hr.
