We SCOUT the world to carefully find and create our collections. We offer limited run Scout Label furniture, exclusive artwork, customizable designs and vintage finds. Located in the Dallas Design District, our 15,000 square foot showroom houses a well-edited collection of new and vintage furniture, artwork, lighting and home accessories from around the globe. We offer in-house refinishing services for vintage furniture and ship across the United States.

SCOPE OF THE POSITION
The Delivery Driver role is responsible for providing white glove delivery service to Scout customers along the US East Coast and may be required to deliver to other time zones as needed. This position is physical in nature and will require the individual to be able to stand, lift, bend, reach, and manipulate. The use of many types of tools including power tools is required. The ideal candidate for this role loves to work in a relaxed, fun environment and likes to travel. The most important attribute we are looking for is a candidate who is positive, and willing to learn and grow with the company.
Job Duties

• Ensure that the client's experience is the number one priority.
• Complete delivery schedules in the estimated time frames, ensuring that customer contact is made, and updates are confirmed if there are changes.
• Load and unload trucks properly to ensure the safe delivery of customer purchases.
• Unload furniture pieces, unwrap and deliver to the customer’s home without damages.
• Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles at all times.
• Maintain up-to-date expense reports and receipt maintenance.
• Perform special projects as needed and/or assigned by Managers.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 1+ years of driving and delivery experience, required
• Must have a clear driving record
• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Must possess a high level of customer service

Schedule: This position is primarily Monday through Friday, but the employee can expect to travel on overnight trips, approximately 75% of the time. Deliveries will be mostly along the US East Coast, but the employee may be required to make trips to deliver or pick up merchandise from Dallas, TX.
License/Certification: Class C Driver’s License. CDL is not required for this position.
