Sila’s continued success has created an opportunity for a full-time Delivery Driver - Warehouse opportunity in our Beltsville, MD location.

This position involves working as a driver/warehouse support and learning about parts and equipment. After your annual review, you will have the option of excelling into a service or installation role.

HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical Warehouse Helper and Parts Driver Job Summary

Goal for your first Year

• Gain familiarity and comfort driving trucks and larger delivery vehicles.
• Learning about the HVAC equipment and parts used on a daily basis in the field.
• Assisting service techs on repairs.
• Assisting plumbers with water heater installations.
• Assisting installers with boiler, furnace, ductless, air handlers installations, etc.
• Demonstrates and establishes effective working relationships with co-workers, superiors.
• Properly complete all paperwork required for each job.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction.

General Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.
• Represent Sila in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.
• Physical requirements includes the ability to lift up to 75lbs, stand, bend, stoop, sit, reach, lift and travel to locations.

Qualifications Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to be flexible in work schedule (may include some weekends).
• HVAC school or work experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
