Bierlein is currently looking for experienced Demolition Laborers in the Port Lacava, TX area. If you have demo experience or have 2+ years of experience working in a chemical facility, we may be looking for YOU!

Bierlein is a family-owned and operated company, providing a full line of demolition and environmental services. Our headquarters in Midland, MI is seeking qualified candidates to join our team of laborers and environmental laborers on our project in Freeport. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform various manual duties pertaining to demolition and cleaning operations in chemical and other industrial facilities
• Adapt to weather conditions and work in hot and cold environments
• Complete tasks while wearing a respirator and other necessary personal protective equipment
• Maintain a safe worksite through housekeeping duties
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Abide by company, state, and federal rules, and safety regulations
• Be motivated and work productively

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to pass a physical, drug screen, hair screen, breathe alcohol screen, and background check
• Able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Torch Cutting
• 10-hour OSHA Training
• 40-hour HAZWOPER Training
• Asbestos Training
• Forklift, Aerial Lift and Power Tool, Pipe Extraction, Shutdown/Turn around Experience
• 2 or more years experience in Demo or working in a Chemical Plant

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
