TEAM POSITION OPENING ADI-Smyrna has an opening for a Registered Dental Assistant! At our location we provide a working environment unlike most offices! SCHEDULE • Monday - Friday 7:45 AM til 5:00 PM • Lunch: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS • Welcome Patients into our dental office • Prepare Patients for treatments / checkups while ensuring their comfort and confidence in our team • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed • Sterilize instruments according to regulations • Assist the Dentist and Hygienist • Undertake lab tasks as instructed • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative instructions • Keep the dental room and clinic clean and well-stocked • Schedule appointments • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures • Proven experience as dental assistant • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods • Understanding of health & safety regulations • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical and surgical tasks • Good computer skills • Excellent communication and people skills • Attention to detail • Well-organized and reliable Qualifications •To apply for this position, you must possess an active DA and X-ray certification, and experience in oral surgery and taking impressions for prosthetics. •You must be able to work in a high volume, fast paced office while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude. • High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred • Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA) Benefits •Pay Range: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour •Group medical and dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, flexible spending (health and dependent care), 401(k), 9 paid holidays off, 10 days of vacation, and 5 additional PTO days •We also offer ancillary benefits to include hospital indemnity, accident, and critical illness insurance options •Affordable Care is the DSO for several top dental brands including, but not limited to, Affordable Dentures & Implants
