We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for interacting and assisting patients during appointment, cleaning and sterilization of dental instruments, as well as other tasks. We are looking for a self-motivated and energetic individual who is also detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Provide surgical support to the oral surgeon chairside
• Assist in oral surgery procedures including IV sedations with competency
• Take, develop and label radiographs appropriately
• Sterilize instrumentation and prepare tray setups
• Setup required instrumentation in sterile environment
• Provide pre and post-operative instructions as directed by the surgeon

• Monitor inventory to ensure office efficiency, including but not limited to expiration dates, drug counts and crash cart

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

• Flexibility in scheduling is required for all positions
• Required to travel between Philadelphia and Delaware County offices. ( Center City, South Philadelphia, Clifton and Folsom)
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing and supporting as assigned

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING & CERTIFICATES REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Pennsylvania certification in Oral Radiology (Completed or Pending Completion in 3-6 months)
• CPR certification (Offered On-site As Needed)
• Valid Drivers License & Automobile Insurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
