Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center . This person is responsible for assisting Dentists while providing exceptional treatment to patients with various medical conditions.

Work Hours/Shift:

Full-Time – 8:30 am – 5:00 pm , Monday thru Friday.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Exceptional Patient Care: Contributes to the overall quality of dental care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively.

• Excellent Communicator: Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with admin, colleagues, patients, and family members to complete patient assessments and consent forms. Must have familiarity with Dental EMR as dictated by the attending dentist .

• Radiograph Skills: Ability to perform radiographs for children, adolescents, adults, geriatric, and medically compromised patients. Demonstrates proper barrier technique for digital x-ray sensors.

• Active Teamwork : Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.

Requirements :

• Education : High School Graduate

• Successful completion of an Accredited Dental Assisting program is required.

• Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Infection Control: Must have successfully passed the exam

• Radiation and Infection Control Certifications: Required

• Experience: 1-3 years of Dental Assistance experience is preferred.

• BLS or CPR certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross will be accepted.

• Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
