Job description

We are looking for a new team member to add to our established, 45+ year old general dentist practice. We are looking for a personable, team-oriented individual to join our existing team members. We have a great practice that is full of long term loyal patients that expect great customer service and personality from the administrative and clinical staff.

Primary responsibilities include:

Providing excellent customer service to all patients

Greeting all patients as they enter/leave the office

Promptly answering the phone and patient questions

Scheduling appointments appropriately

Handling insurance questions and verifying insurance benefits

Calling patients on the phone

Entering patient and insurance information into the software

Reviewing and understanding insurance claims & payments

Maintain short notice list

Communicate with specialist's office as needed

Able/willing to help with clinical care as needed, such as:

Breakdown and set up of treatment rooms

Sterilization

Assisting the doctor and hygienist during clinical procedures as needed

We are a privately owned one doctor practice that treats patients 3.5 days per week. We are looking for a full-time individual to work Monday - Thursday from 7:45 am until 5:15 pm. We will provide training for our specific office software and procedures. Most importantly, we are looking for a potential long term employee who enjoys working in a small office environment where you will get to know all the patients and everyone is treated as family.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
