The TikTok Engineering teams have a strong user focus and a dedication to technical excellence. They focus on building products that inspire creativity and bring joy to billions of users. Some of their sub-teams are Creation Suites, Creator Management, Content Growth, Open Platform, Product Infrastructure, Privacy, User Growth, etc. TikTok Engineering team is seeking a friendly, approachable, positive and with can-do attitude Department Administrator to work with and to support our TikTok Engineering department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple domestic and international stakeholders to support our continued growth and expansion. This is a Full-time role located in Mountain View.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of department-wide event planning, meeting clear deadlines and budget demands.
• Organize Employee Engagement activities such as team building, offsite coordination, meetups, etc.
• Manage budget and expense process for various activities, coordinating with all relevant department and HR stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legal, insurance, health and safety regulations at all times.
• Support ad-hoc office-specific needs such as meeting room coordination, team-specific seating chart mapping, etc.
• Partner with HR on specific requirements such as information collection for HR programs, programmatic budget development and management, materials development, etc.
• Coordinate logistics for visiting teams and off-sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in large scale event planning and coordination

• Budget management experience
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy levels
• Great organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritise key projects
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Good command in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to sort information efficiently
• Skills in design, filming, editing, etc. are a plus
