R+L Carriers' Information Technology Department in Wilmington, OH is growing and has an immediate opening for a Desktop Support Technician. The Technician will be responsible for managing the inventory of desktop computers, laptops, printers, kiosks, and monitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check in new/old inventory (which requires lifting up to 50 pounds)

• Place new inventory into stock and dispose of expired equipment

• Unpack hardware for prep; pack configured hardware and ship to field locations

• Tag and record hardware going into the field

• Maintain inventory of all hardware and software resources and parts

• Work on Help Desk tickets such as keyboards, mice, UPS, LCD, etc.

• Maintain excellent communication with all end users and other members of the technology department

• Work with outside vendors as needed

• Execute other assigned tasks as delegated by the Desktop Support Manager

Qualifications:

• Basic Computer troubleshooting skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferable

• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people

• Ability to recognize, analyze, and effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner using

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working in a structured, process-driven environment

• Self-Motivated
