MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from highly selective university in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or Physics
• 3+ years of work experience in Devops roles
• Industry experience in healthcare preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop highly scalable, automated deployments for reporting and data integration features and support quality standards for platform architecture
• Ensure release practices support department processes and follow HIPAA compliance
• Develop release patterns and processes for data scientists, software engineers, QA testers and project managers to follow and implement
• Develop a release automation framework for reporting and data integration platforms and integrate automation processes into Jira
• Meet with software engineers, QA testers and project managers to understand requirements, translate them into release practices and document release processes
• Implement technology projects and support the resulting features in a Production environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Highly ambitious, given role will grow as the company does
• Self-starter, very energetic and ability to change directions quickly
• High standard of quality and commitment to produce top-notch work
• Highly proficient developing release frameworks and scripts using Microsoft Azure
• Highly proficient with scripting languages like Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
• Experience building release frameworks and processes from the ground up
• Experience developing release processes in a regulated industry like healthcare or finance preferred
• Proficiency in Java preferred
• Strong curiosity, desire to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work well with people of different backgrounds and skill sets
• Ability to multi-task across a range of diverse projects
• Ability to work independently and in a highly virtual environment, with colleagues all over the country
• Strong technology skills and ability to master working across a range of software programs, including Microsoft Office applications, Jira, Visio
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends when required
• Willingness to cover after-hours support and software releases when needed
