CACI is seeking a Digital Content Writer to support a growing federal agency website focused on cyber and infrastructure security information, programs, services, and industry partnership and collaboration materials.
As a digital writer, you will collaborate with industry subject matter experts to create, edit, and publish content published across multiple digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
Research, write, develop, and edit content for a variety of public facing digital platforms including websites, blogs, youtube videos, email communications, social media posts, infographics, reports, and more.
Build and edit web pages using content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML skills.
Apply SEO and content development best practices to create digital content that is relevant to the end user and findable via leading search engines.
Understand, inform, and adhere to brand and strategic communications guidelines to ensure messaging is consistent with agency mission and tone of voice.
Work closely with subject matter experts to write, rewrite or edit technically complex information to ensure quality and accuracy.
Translate agency product, service, and event details into easy-to-understand content (ranging from long-form articles, headlines, video scripts, program guidelines, and tips) that is easy to find and understand.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both written and orally, and present completed work and ideas in a professional business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both internal and external executive leadership.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience using a content management system (CMS), ideally Drupal, and familiarity with the process of managing and editing websites in general.
The ability to translate somewhat complex technical subjects into engaging language readily understandable by a variety of different audiences.
The ability to collaborate with content, web analytics, and technical managers to understand and best address user needs collaboratively.
3+ years of digital content creation experience.
Bachelor's degree (preferably in English, literature, journalism, communications, or similar).
Excellent writing skills and proven track record writing in different styles and tones.
An understanding of HTML and CSS.
Proven organizational and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, content management systems, and workflow and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, etc.; knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a digital publishing/media house.
Experience working remotely
Familiarity with and interest in cyber security and IT operations subject areas.
Experience working with a remote team.
Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and web accessibility guidelines.
