What You Will Do
The Digital Marketing Manager reports directly to the VP of Marketing and will engage in the development of all components of the Marketing lifecycle and process including value proposition design, new market and vertical market development, digital marketing solution design, marketing insights and analytics, and marketing capability development. This critical role engages cross-functionally within GSI regions and with GSI’s geographically dispersed Project Development Engineers. The role is the focal point to assess the current and future needs for revenue generation in order to support the successful achievement of GSI’s strategy and operating plan.
Additionally, the Digital Marketing Manager will be adept at interacting strategically with senior leaders while also being ready to roll up the sleeves to drive initiatives in an environment where cross-functional collaboration is vital to success. Possessing a strong sense of humility, humor, and a growth mindset, the manager will operate at pace bringing others along on the journey.

Responsibilities:

How You Will Make a Difference
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Qualifications:
What You Need to Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Demonstrable experience with digital/interactive marketing including email, web and social media.
  • Campaign / demand generation experience.
  • Proficient project management knowledge and success.
