We are looking for an experienced digital marketing manager to join our team and help build Obsidian Security’s
online presence into that of a world-class brand. The Digital Marketing Manager (SEM, SEO, Display) will lead
digital marketing efforts with focus on paid marketing, content-based traffic generation, website conversion rate
optimization, reporting, and analytics.

This is a hands-on SEO position where you’ll use tactics and analytical skills to plan and execute SEO projects. You will work closely with content writers, marketing technology, paid search, and business leads from the demand generation team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute our SEO content program across our digital properties
  • Benchmark SEO / SEM strategy effectiveness (changes to rankings, traffic, conversions), derive insights, develop recommendations, and make decisions based on data; implement best practices
  • Own organic keyword research and reporting performance metrics for organic search
  • Provide detailed competitive analysis and ensure Obsidian Security is maintaining authority across key business units and keyword themes
  • Responsible for crafting SEO-focused titles, meta descriptions, URLs and working with the marketing team to produce fully optimized content
  • Target ICP by identifying and scaling paid and unpaid digital acquisition channels
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing LinkedIn and Google Ads campaigns and PPC campaigns across search engines / ad networks
  • Manage the digital marketing budget, making sure it is invested in the right channels by driving highly qualified leads to our site to build on marketing pipeline
  • Measure and report performance of the site and digital marketing campaigns
  • Optimize online response and conversion rates via landing page optimization, testing, and behavioral targeting


Applicant Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in a B2B, SAAS or Cloud company
  • Proven track record of managing digital content for a corporate website, optimizing SEO / SEM results using tools like SEMRush or other tools
  • Proficient in website CMS and analytics, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and WordPress strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java, and other web-based coding languages
  • Use Google Analytics to optimize digital ad campaigns
  • Strong analytical mindset and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and solid ability to think strategically and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent attention to detail, while maintaining an eye on the big picture
  • Manage multiple projects independently while maintaining deliverables, timelines, and next steps
  • Able to thrive and deliver in an agile fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • BS or BA in marketing, design or similar degree preferred
