Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Expand local sales teams’ knowledge of existing and future sales opportunities through digital product demonstrations and training
- 1-2 trips per month for property/university visits.
- Weekly check-in calls with sales team
- Maintain knowledge of digital and social media sales inventory at local properties
- Developing and disseminating best practices (i.e., comparison of property-by-property inventory, sales successes)
- Analysis of post campaign performance metrics and what they mean
- Assist local sales teams with inventory tracking and increasing sold fill-rates for digital and social media sales assets
- Property inventory audits
- Website display ads and pre-roll inventory
- Secure category block lists from local sales teams
- Provide counsel in ideation and development of sponsorship pitches and packages
- Develop and cultivate relationships with university athletic department digital teams (i.e., social media managers, website managers, communication strategists, content creators, etc.)
- Seeking and acquiring permissions for commercial opportunities via university athletic digital and social media channels
- Ad server migration permissions, where applicable
- Upgrade ad units, locations to websites
- Secure Social Media ads manager account access
- Backfill permissions, where applicable, related to programmatic delivery of ads
- Inventory access (i.e., social media posts, content creation, website display ads)
- Awareness of upcoming technology vendor selections
- Website Redesign participation
- Seeking and acquiring permissions for commercial opportunities via university athletic digital and social media channels
- Collaborate with university partners and local sales teams to develop innovative digital and social media sales opportunities
- Participate in the evaluation and delivery of new fan engagement technology solutions and opportunities
- Content creation and distribution opportunities
- Understand and lead the sales team through the digital and social media sales activation workflow process
- Maintain record of third-party technology vendor contract terms and term end dates
- Travel is required for this position
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a digital media or marketing role
- Outstanding partnership and relationship building skills
