The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for helping people with developmental disabilities lead richer lives. DSP’s assist individuals with all of their personal needs and care plans including modeling socially appropriate behavior, help people participate in recreational programs that strengthen their life skills, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. A primary purpose of the DSP is to assist people who need support to lead self-directed lives and to participate in their communities.

Shifts and Locations: We offer FT, PT and Per Diem shifts in:
SOMERS, MOHEGAN LAKE, OSSINING, PLEASANTVILLE, YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, & HAWTHORNE, NY

- $17.36-$18.36/hour based on experience

Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age at the time of hiring
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license (NY or CT)
- One year’s experience working with an OPWDD population is preferred, but not required.
- Must successfully complete OPWDD Medication Certification Course at the discretion of the Department Head, CPR, and First Aid course and SCIP-R training.
