New Horizons, a nonprofit serving special needs adults in the San Fernando Valley for more than 60 years, seeks enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Day Program Instructors.

This will be a very rewarding experience for reliable people who have a passion to help others.

No experience necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am - 4pm (30 - 32 hours a week)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Day Program Instructors. As a Day Program Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in creating a stimulating and supportive environment for individuals with special needs in our day program setting. If you have a passion for enhancing the lives of others and promoting their personal growth and development, then we are looking for you!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must speak English
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with special needs / developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Driver's License for 3+ years required. Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be willing to drive an 8-passanger van.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
