Direct Support Professionals or Residential Aides - Needed Immediately!!!
Due to growth, Lifesteps, a Western PA non-profit agency, is currently hiring four full-time Direct Support Professionals to provide assistance to individuals with disabilities at a new residential location in the Brookline / Castle Shannon PA area.
The positions work in a direct care capacity and assist adults with activities of daily living, such as cooking, cleaning, medications, goal attainment, shopping, and community outings. Staff also provide emotional and behavioral support for the individual clients.
Positions are Full-time, 40 hours per week. Part-time and/or Casual positions are also available with flexible scheduling. We offer Day, Evening, or Overnight shifts. Overtime is available.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
- Valid driver’s license/auto insurance
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required
