Salary Range: $84,651 - $159,087

• Assist Executive Director, Exceptional Student Education, and the Chief of Academics in advising the Deputy Superintendent of Teaching and Learning in establishing and maintaining policies and procedures that ensure compliance with federal and state mandates and School Board policies, including adherence to and fulfillment of procedural safeguards for students and parents.
• Support the academic, social, and interpersonal development of students through results-driven professional development, providing appropriate clinical and related services, and compliance monitoring of all programs and services.
• Provide direction for the development of assessment systems to monitor the academic and behavioral progress of students serviced within Section 504, Exceptional Student Education, Students with Emotional / Behavioral Disabilities Network (SEDNET) and other assigned areas.
• Collaborate with community organizations to enhance services provided to all students in support of the District’s Strategic Plan.
• Collaborate in the development and monitoring of the department’s budget, expenditures, and inventories in support of short and long-range goals as related to the position responsibilities. Establish, monitor, and control the respective budgets based on educational needs.
