That's where you come in.
We are looking for a Director of Merchant Compliance to join our team! In this role you will ensure compliance of new and existing merchant customers with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. You will become the central point of contact for all matters regarding Merchant Compliance within SpotOn. You will also be responsible for leading your growing team to ensure that SpotOn merchants are operating in a safe and compliant manner.

- 5-7 years of experience in the merchant compliance industry relating to ISOs or PAYFACS
- Prior AML experience required including submitting AML/BSA referrals to bank sponsors and conducting OFAC reviews
- Experience completing risk assessments, quality assurance reviews and/or testing of key processes, including but not limited to decline letters, BSA referral testing, transaction monitoring alerts, enhanced due diligence etc.
- Experience analyzing and reporting Merchant Compliance KRIs and KPIs, including monthly information services (MIS) reports
- Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, payment operator network rules and card brand rules and regulations (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, etc.)
- Experience in the security practices of the payment industry compliance, PCI-DSS reports and attestations a plus
- Experience with merchant pricing plans (cash discounts or dual pricing) and fee updates as well as the laws/regulations that govern them a plus
- Experience working to help publish communications and other materials to simplify compliance for merchants and help them to maintain good standing
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or ACFE strongly preferred

Compensation:
- Our base pay range starts at $145,000 -$200,000 for this role
- Please note the salary range listed is just one component of a competitive compensation package which includes a company stock plan
