TruConnect is on a mission to bridge the digital divide in the United States by delivering premium wireless services to underserved communities. We have connected millions of Americans over the past decade and experiencing substantial growth as the government places significant resources to help bridge the digital divide. To support continued growth, we are looking for a Product Manager to oversee our LTE device performance and roadmap, as well as our relationship with MNOs.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience taking consumer telecommunication products to market. This includes demonstrated experience with LTE networks and devices. This is not an entry level position.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, well-organized, creative, empathetic, and proactive. You build trust & strong relationships at all levels. You are confident and can influence without formal authority, pushing back when appropriate. You earn respect and respect contributions of others. Additional requirements include:
- Experience working in an Agile framework.
- KPI driven. Identifies intended results and measures outcomes.
- Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering.
Responsibilities
Work with device OEMs and MNOs to optimize the TruConnect consumer experience
Develop a device roadmap for TruConnect OEMs
Develop reporting that monitors the performance of TruConnect LTE devices and networks
Ensure that devices meet the technical requirements of our MNO partners
Distill business and product requirements into actionable stories for engineering
Communicate launch plans and post-launch activities with key stakeholders, and assist with day-to-day operational support
Define a product vision supported by market research, customer data, and competitive analysis.
