Recently reopened, Stissing House in Pine Plains is excited to be back serving the greater Hudson Valley community and is looking for a Dishwasher to join its growing culinary team.

Founded in 1782, Stissing House is one of the oldest operating taverns in the United States, and now, after an extensive renovation, Chef Clare de Boer and her team are honored to continue this tradition.

We are looking for a Dishwasher who is eager to join a team of professionals who value teamwork, kindness, positivity, and a commitment to excellence.

Potential to start a career in a fast paced and busy kitchen, alongside Chefs who have worked in some of the best kitchens in the world.

Position Summary:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using 3-Sink Method & Machine
- Sort and stack clean dishes and carry clean dishes to proper storage areas
- Assist with general daily and deep cleaning tasks
- Breaking down boxes, taking out trash
- Light kitchen prep work like picking herbs, peeling vegetables
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Follow health and safety guidelines

Hours: Thursday through Monday, ideally 9-5 but can be flexible for right candidate

Days Off (restaurant closed) Tuesday and Wednesday

Compensation: Pay starting at $16/hour and commensurate with experience
