Dispatcher

You would guide and assist drivers by assigning and planning loads, ensuring pickups and deliveries are on time, and communicate in a timely efficient manner. RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assigning trailers with drivers and customers.

· -Maintaining communication with customers and drivers.

· -Account Management of assigned Customers

· -Ensure on time pickups and deliveries to meet our Customer’s needs

· -Ensure Driver safety, including DOT compliance, safe working conditions, and maintaining Marrlin’s Standards & Policies

· -Assist Drivers with inquiries in regards to availability, mileage, fuel cards, and other obstacles throughout the day

· -Assist with other requests made of the Operations Department

· -Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

§ Looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize

§ Must possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

§ Possess proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and AS400

§ Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Logistics industry
