Job SummaryThe District Sales Associate manages projects on customers’ premises alongside the Territory Manager and other employees with new store sets and other merchandising tasks. Responsible for all aspects of open territories within the district, and any other projects as directed by the District Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager.
Essential Job Functions*
- Oversees open territories account management through call cycle management, inventory management, new product sales, achieving sales goals, and established objectives.
- Maintain professional business relationships with Traditional Sales staff and Hillman customers
- Knowledge of Hillman products, programs, and sales/field operating procedures.
- Travel as required based on assignment location.
- Basic understanding of plan-o-grams, marketing concepts, and merchandising aids.
- Maintains consistent presentation standards.
- Monitor market store conditions in relation to competitors
- Build strong and successful relationships with store management
- Deal with various technology and equipment to fulfill the job requirements

Education & Experience
- Associates degree in business or a related field, 4-6 years of experience
- BS/BA 0-1 years’ experience
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
