Westmoreland County Community College is looking to fill a full-time Division Technician position for the Health Professions, Culinary Arts & Hospitality Division in Youngwood, PA. The Division Technician reports directly to, and is accountable for providing secretarial support and technical assistance to the dean of an academic division.

This position requires an Associate Degree in a related field; two years of related work experience; proven ability to begin work and continue work independently with minimal supervision. This includes prioritizing multiple work assignments and paying attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel software; excellent proofreading, knowledge of Access, Project, PowerPoint & Visio software desired; ability to perform mathematical calculations; demonstrated knowledge of professional office & telephone skills; demonstrated ability to interact professionally and confidentially with the college community and the public; excellent communication, interpersonal and customer-service skills; excellent decision-making and judgment skills; excellent organizational skills - including the ability to prioritize multiple work assignments and manage conflicting tasks, while paying attention to detail; proven ability to work independently; PA Child Abuse History clearance, PA Criminal Record Check clearance & FBI Federal Criminal History Record clearance at employee's expense. To qualify for this position, applicant's previous work performance must have met or exceeded appropriate work standards.
