Document Coordinator/Payment Processor
Job description

- Processes payments from a variety of sources, such as CCCS, attorneys, bankruptcy trustee, collection agencies, members, etc., for the entire department
- Prepare loan files approved by management for legal and collection agency’s action, electronically upload, email, or mail necessary documents to the attorneys including payoffs and loan documents
- Review affidavits sent by attorneys to ensure accuracy of loan balances, payoff, and accrued interest, notarize, mail or email back to the attorneys and save and scan copies for recordkeeping purposes
- Answers incoming calls and emails from attorneys, collections agencies, third party debt settlement offices and members
- Assist with Member Solutions phone queue, distribute information, take messages and forward to appropriate staff member
- Sort and distribute department mail to appropriate staff members including invoices
- Balance all checks received by the department at the end of the day. Batch all work and send to Checking Department for process
- Recommends delinquent loans for legal action at the request of management
- Must have a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training
