Geotechnical and Water Well Drilling Company in Pasco County, FL seeking Full Time Driller Helper/ Laborer.

Starting pay is $17.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience. Experience is not required, we just need a hard worker with a positive attitude who is responsible. 90 day evaluation period.

**EXPERIENCED Drillers can start immediately at $18.00 / hour - $25.00 / hour per hour depending on experience. Geotechnical or Environmental (direct push, auger monitor wells) and Water Well drilling**

Must be prompt, dependable, have a VALID DRIVERS LICENSE with a good driving history, and professional appearance. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE ENTIRE DAY IN FLORIDA SUNSHINE/HEAT. This is not a job for everyone. Must be able to withstand the heat and sun. Some weeks will be more than 60-70 hours, must be okay with working till the job is complete.

We work for government, military and schools, MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK and PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING.

Drilling consists of heavy lifting and long hour days. Employees report to the shop in San Antonio, then ride/drive to the job site in a company truck. Average start time is 5:30 am to 6:30 am. Hours will vary by week depending on the workload and schedule. Some weeks will be more than 60-70 hours, must be okay with working till the job is complete.

MUST BE OKAY WITH THE HOURS and TRAVEL. Must be okay with working on the weekends if required. Once drilling starts, helper assists the rig operator with completing the boring holes by:

carrying and setting up drilling supplies handling 24" and 36" steel pipe wrenches operating drill rig sampling hammer w/ cathead by pulling Rope repeatedly. breaking or opening steel sampling spoons to collect and label soil samples cleaning up drilling location once completed to company standards (includes fixing fences, pavers, sod, sprinklers) Carrying/ Moving Steel hollow stem augers that can weigh as much as 100 lbs each.
