What does the Position require?

· Nurture and develop relationships with a team of 30-50 drivers that is based on respect and an unwavering commitment to their success

· Ensure driver ETA’s, locations and noted and correct daily

· Ensure handover is given to the night and weekend shifts in order to maintain consistency 24/7

· Plan individual weekly schedule for a driver based on his specific requests and weekend plans

· Be in Constant communication with drivers, brokers, shippers and receivers as well as Dispatch team

· Plan and schedule trucks for Preventive Maintenance as needed

· In case of deviations from on-time DLV's communicate with facilities and/or brokers

· Ensure loads are achievable for a driver and do not jeopardize safety or driver's plans

· Request detentions, escorts and lumpers to be reimbursed from brokers
