Position Title: *Driver Part-time

Status: *Non-exempt

Reports To: Senior Manager of Facilities

This position will be working 1 day a week for 8 hours providing transportation for a Bosma employee to various sites around the state, and working the remaining 4 days for 2 hours each day either in the morning or the afternoon transporting clients to and from our rehabilitation facility. Total work hours each week will be 16 hours. Additional hours may be needed occasionally in the absence of the full-time Driver.*

Overall Responsibility: *

The Driver Part-time is responsible for transporting Bosma employees, clients, visitors, and board members to and from the Bosma facility as well as carrying out pick-up and delivery of supplies and materials on an as needed basis.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: *

The essential functions of the Drivers position consist primarily of, but are not limited to the following:

Transport Bosmas rehabilitation center clients to and from the Bosma facility

• Drive employees to off-site work locations and other appointments
• Drive board members to Bosma board meetings and other board functions
• Pickup visitors and employees from the airport or hotel
• Pickup miscellaneous supplies and materials as needed
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicles inside and out.
• Responsible for keeping Bosma vehicles fueled
• Report safety and vehicle issues immediately to the Senior Manager of Facilities
• Maintain a positive and cooperative demeanor at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

Additional tasks to be completed in the absence of the Full-time Driver: *

• Pick up the mail and deliver it between the buildings and to the post office. Run the postage machine when necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance work and complete facilities improvement projects
• Primary driver for the Bosma mini-bus
• Responsible for keeping oil changes up-to-date and scheduling and coordinating any needed vehicle maintenance.
• Pick-up and deliver lunches from Corporate building Bistro to employees and clients at the Woodland building daily.
• Drive the Bosma box truck; deliver products to customer locations within Indiana when required

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED
Possess a valid IN drivers license and have or be able to obtain a For-Hire endorsement within 90 days of hire
Possess and maintain a safe driving record
