DSHS ESH Administrative Assistant 3
We are expanding! Eastern State Hospital is seeking Administrative Assistant 3’s to join their team in Medical Lake, WA. In this role you will provide confidential administrative support for daily business and operational support to the accounting department and Chief Financial Offer (CFO).

We are seeking dedicated professionals who have experience providing administrative support to executive staff in a hospital setting or closely related field. If you are a self-starter who works well in a fast-paced environment, able to handle multiple projects with excellent time management and organizational skills, come join our team!

The work schedule for this position is Monday- Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Some of what you'll do:


  • Organize meetings
  • Provide administrative support as assigned, to include meeting attendance, minute taking, and record keeping.
  • Provide support including: filing and organizing, personnel administration, and report preparation.
  • Coordinate, facilitates, and follows up on special projects as needed.
  • Review, process and prepare required attendance records for the department.
  • Serve as a liaison between supervisor and department staff members.
  • Coordinate personnel issues such as recruitment selection, appointment and ensuring personnel files are complete, organized, and retained in accordance with state and federal statues
  • Open mail and distribute supplies received on behalf of local/patient fund for accounting department
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information

Who should apply?
Professionals with a high school diploma or GED and two years of progressively responsible experience in office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting or other general administrative work.
  • Formal education may substitute year-for-year for required experience.
