Job description

We're looking to fill Direct Support Professional positions in location. The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This position requires a nurturing but firm approach and requires a pro-active approach to problem-solving and building trust with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide services that are supportive and beneficial to those served by the agency.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
• Gather, process, store, distribute, and labeling of supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Assist with the transport of clients or equipment.
• Maintain a current CPR certifications or enroll in a training course provided by the agency.
• Learn and use new skills and knowledge acquired through training opportunities offered by the agency.
• Work closely with peers to complete tasks and contribute to team success.
• Report incidents of abuse or neglect by clients or staff members to appropriate authorities as required by state regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
