General Description:
The Copy Editor is responsible for content of technical documentation.
Example Tasks:
•
Check author's document for spelling, grammar and content problems (e.g., missing instructions or sections; redundant or unnecessary sections).
•
Checking accuracy of content may fall under this position or the author, depending on the expertise of the editor.
•
Copy Editor ensures that documents follow the style laid out in the organization's style guide.
•
Copy Editor is also responsible for developing and maintaining the style guide and suggests revisions to the style guide as appropriate.
Requirements:

Clearance - Secret
•
BA/BS 6+ years of related experience or HS 14+ years of related experience
