Job description
Revere Public Schools seeks a licensed full-time teacher for a substantially separate preschool classroom for students with moderate and severe developmental disabilities. This position is scheduled to tentatively begin mid fall. The teacher will design and deliver specialized instruction based on students developmental levels and IEP goals/objectives, utilize Assistive and Augmentative Communication, and work collaboratively as part of a team to create a safe and engaging learning environment. Experience with discrete trial training and behavior support interventions is valuable.Other responsibilities include but are not limited to train and oversee classroom paraprofessionals, maintain compliance with mandated Special Education guidelines, and conduct annual review team meetings. DESE license in Moderate of Severe Disabilities is required.
