We are currently looking for a qualified applicant to fill the following position: FT - EHR Administrator ($51K - $60K).
Job Description: Under the authority and supervision of the IT Director, the administrator is responsible for the operation and administration of the agency's electronic health records and case management tooling.
Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate the provisioning and de-provisioning of staff and intern access to the agency's EHR system in accordance with established roles and the principle of least privilege.
  • Assist in ensuring quality data entry and in compliance with regulations VYH policies, and contracts.
  • Become the agency's subject matter expert in the use and customization of EHR tooling to match contractual requirements, managing projects, and launching initiatives to improve record keeping and staff efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and capacity in the selection of correct EHR tool(s) and customization to meet the needs of program models and agency goals.
  • Develop and maintain reporting to leverage EHR data to support agency growth, verifying contractual obligations, quality assurance, and data-based story.
  • Maintain and audit compliance with Valley Youth House computer security and usage policies including HIPAA standards.
  • The supervisor will travel to regional offices to assist in EHR training and support for up to 20% of work time.
Other Duties:
  • To collaborate with other VYH IT Team members and contracted service providers to resolve problems.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives identified as priorities by VYH Leadership.
  • To maintain a positive relationship with VYH administrative staff and community members.
  • To deal with crisis situations in a proactive and effective manner.
  • To complete all personnel materials in an accurate and timely manner.
  • To accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation in a manner consistent with established protocols including, but not limited to: staff evaluations, staff time and mileage sheets, miscellaneous personnel material, incident reports, statistics, program reports, program bills, etc.
  • To complete other related duties or tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • The administrator shall be a mature individual with the ability to adapt to the philosophy of VYH.
  • An individual 21 years of age or older, with the ability to identify with and adapt to the goals and philosophies of the independent living program.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and either equivalent experience or demonstrated education in database reporting and administration.
  • SQL experience needed.
  • The administrator will have a demonstrated ability to work independently, manage team members, coordinate multiple tasks, and will possess sound judgment.
  • She/he has never been convicted of any child abuse offense and shall possess or obtain the required clearances and a valid driver's license.
