Recore Electrical Contractors is seeking a motivated and talented junior Electrical Engineer. This position will involve working with a Senior Electrical Engineer focusing on industrial projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for junior level engineers who want to acquire knowledge in power distribution systems, instrumentation and controls, switchgear, stand-by power systems, load and fault current calculations, power flow and short circuit analysis, lighting systems, and NEC code compliance. We would also consider recent graduates of engineering programs. This position is intended for candidates who are looking for a long-term opportunity with high potential for growth.

Responsibilities:

· Service entrance and electrical distribution design

· Lighting lay outs

· Energy code compliance

· Communication with field personal and customers

· Onsite visits

· Participating in Design Review meetings

· Arc flash data gathering and analyze

· Electrical equipment specifications

· Work with other trades to provide complete design

Required Experience:

· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

· Has completed the FE exam, or is in preparation to take

· Auto Cad design experience

· Coursework or experience with electrical power systems

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Experience:

· Have 1 or 2 years of Electrical Engineering experience

· Lighting design experience

· Load calculation experience

· Knowledge of National Electrical Code

· Revit design experience
